You have chosen to apply for a digital certificate from IdenTrust. Once obtained, your digital certificate allows Transact Washington to verify your identity. Additionally, the certificate will allow you to conduct other types of transactions with the state as they become available and may allow you to conduct business electronically with other businesses, depending on the availability of certificate-enabled applications.

The completed process for obtaining your digital certificate usually takes between 3 and 5 days. The certificate level you applied for will determine the length of the approval process.

Once you have obtained your digital certificate from IdenTrust, you will be able to proceed to "Step 3", open myTransact account.
